Episode 1: Futureproofing Canada’s labour market

November 9, 2022 at 1:00 pm EST

The nature of work underwent (and is still undergoing) a huge shift during the COVID-19 pandemic. Many workers are revaluating their priorities and career goals. And, many employers are struggling to find talent. What workers want and what employers need is very different from just two years ago.

Now, workers and learners expect to be futureproofed. That means that we are ready for any challenge that could arise in 6 months, a year, 10 years, or 20 years.

Upskilling and reskilling thinkers and doers is all part of the agenda, but is that enough in a tight labour market?
