The Canadian International Development Scholarships 2030 (BCDI 2030) strengthens the social and economic development of women and men — particularly women — in 26 eligible francophone countries, Commonwealth countries and Small Island Developing States.
This eight-year program offers participants high-quality, inclusive education and training opportunities, including technical and professional training, to address inequality, bettering their lives and their communities. The program focuses on several key areas, including STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), artificial Intelligence, green and blue economies, climate action, health sciences, and governance and administration.
BCDI 2030 leverages the existing networks and expertise of colleges and institutes working through CICan’s international programs to further educate, train, and empower thousands of bright, talented people passionate about the development of their countries. It trains women and men to be leaders and agents of change and have a positive impact on their communities.
