Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) is looking to identify a college or institute to design and develop e-learning materials for the Planning for Canada (PfC) asynchronous services in the Articulate 360 software, based on the scripts and resources provided by the PfC team. The topics for e-learning materials are in relation to immigrants to Canada and listed in the supporting document below.
The materials should better prepare PfC clients for move, settlement and employment in Canada, as well as for a smooth and successful integration into Canadian society. The e-learning materials are expected to be interactive and engaging and meet the PfC clients’ needs.
What is Planning for Canada?
The Planning for Canada (PfC) program is funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and delivered by Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan). PfC offers free pre-arrival services to Economic and Family Class immigrants, and applicants approved for the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) so they can be better prepared to live and work in Canada. PfC services are accessible virtually worldwide and in person in India and the Philippines. PfC serves English-speaking clients destined to any province and territory and French-speaking immigrants moving to Quebec. Since 2007, we have helped more than 63,000 immigrants from 111 countries plan for and settle in Canada with confidence.
PfC works on developing asynchronous services for eligible clients so that they can receive important and useful pre-arrival support and recommendations about key aspects of living and working in Canada in a flexible, self-paced manner.
