Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) is pleased to announce the launch of Phase 2 Request for Proposals (RFPs) for three (3) new partnerships within the framework of the Kenya Blue Economy Skills Training Program (KBEST). KBEST is a 7-year program funded by the Government of Canada through Global Affairs Canada.
- Thematic partnership on online and blended learning (KBEST-12) in collaboration with Kenya School of TVET (KSTVET) to build the capacity of KBEST partners in developing and delivering online and blended courses in the blue economy sector
- Institutional partnership with Bandari Maritime Academy and Railway Training Institute – Marine School (KBEST-13) focused on the curriculum development and capacity building of partners in shipping, seafaring, boat building and related trades.
- Thematic partnership on recognition of prior learning (KBEST-14) in collaboration with Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA) to build the capacity of KBEST partners on recognition of prior learning and support the implementation of RPL services for blue economy programs.
The deadline for submission is Wednesday October 23, 2024 at 5:00pm (EDT).
