Institutional Partnership Opportunity – Guinea-Bissau (B06 – INAFOR)
Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) is extending the deadline for one institutional partnership under the second stream of the Canadian International Development Scholarships 2030 (BCDI 2030) program.
This extension applies to B06 – a partnership with INAFOR, Guinea-Bissau’s national authority for technical and vocational education and training (TVET). INAFOR is responsible for accrediting training centres and programs, overseeing certification, and leading the implementation of the country’s new National Qualifications Framework.
The other partnerships previously launched under this stream—in Tunisia, Senegal, and Guinea-Bissau—are now closed.
The B06 partnership will support the development of gender-responsive, market-relevant training programs, strengthen TVET governance, and build institutional capacity to deliver entrepreneurship training and strengthen job placement and support services for students, especially for women.
Funded by Global Affairs Canada, BCDI 2030 is administered by the CICan and Universities Canada (UnivCan) consortium. The call is open to all Canadian post-secondary institutions that are members of CICan or UnivCan.
