Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) is pleased to announce the second call for proposals under the Egypt Green Skills for Climate-Smart Agribusiness Network Project (EGYCAN), funded by Global Affairs Canada (GAC).
This call invites Canadian post-secondary institutions to support the establishment of a new site of an agribusiness Centre of Competence (COC) – a specialized training hub designed to develop industry-relevant skills in climate-smart agribusiness.
EGYCAN will support the creation of up to four COC sites across Egypt.
This new site will be developed in partnership with Egypt’s Ministry of Education and Technical Education (MoETE) and GB Farms, a leader in the production and export of high-quality fruits and vegetables.
The opportunity is open to all Canadian post-secondary institutions that are members of CICan.
Proposals must be submitted by June 9, 2025 at 3 p.m. EDT.
Please note that the Terms of Reference and all documentation are available in English only – the working language of the partnership.
If you have any questions about this call or EGYCAN, please contact Carlos Canales, Senior Program Officer, at: ccanales@cican.org
The EGYCAN team will hold a webinar in English to present the project and answer questions about the call.
