Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) is pleased to announce the launch of the Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for four (4) thematic partnerships within the framework of the South Africa Skills Training Enhancement Program (SASTEP).

This is a 3-year program financed by Global Affairs Canada, to be implemented in collaboration with the 15 publicly funded TVET colleges in Limpopo and Eastern cape provinces under the following thematic areas:

  • SASTEP-01 Effective online and blended learning
  • SASTEP-02 Gender equality and inclusion in the classroom and on campus
  • SASTEP-03 School-to-work transition (career guidance, work readiness and entrepreneurship)
  • SASTEP-04 Effective partnerships (including for work placements and applied research)

The deadline for submission is Thursday, October 31, 2024. at 5:00pm (EDT).

Register and add the Q&A session to your Calendar. Please note that CICan will publish Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) on October 9, 2024, and provide an update on October 16, 2024. This list will include all questions received regarding the SASTEP RFP process and corresponding responses. If you have any questions, please contact the SASTEP team. The questions will be compiled and answered at the informational webinar.
