Request for Proposal: Development of e-learning scripts for the Planning for Canada Program

Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) is in search of subject-matter experts (individual consultants, organizations, or post-secondary education institutions) to prepare scripts that will be used to develop e-learning materials for the Planning for Canada (PfC) asynchronous services for immigrants to Canada.

The subject-matter experts are expected to help enhance the PfC services and better meet the needs of specific client populations facing distinct barriers to settlements and integration. The e-learning materials should better prepare PfC clients for their move, settlement and employment in Canada and for a smooth and successful integration into Canadian society.

What is Planning for Canada?

The Planning for Canada (PfC) program is funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and delivered by Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan). PfC offers free pre-arrival services to Economic and Family Class immigrants, and applicants approved for the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) so they can be better prepared to live and work in Canada. PfC services are accessible virtually worldwide and in person in India and the Philippines. PfC serves English-speaking clients destined to any province and territory and French-speaking immigrants moving to Quebec. Since 2007, we have helped more than 63,000 immigrants from 111 countries plan for and settle in Canada with confidence.

PfC works on developing asynchronous services for eligible clients so that they can receive important and useful pre-arrival support and recommendations about key aspects of living and working in Canada in a flexible, self-paced manner.

Proposals should be submitted by February 1, 2024, at 23:59 EST, to Elsa Sumido Manager, Planning for Canada Colleges and Institutes Canada.

All questions and inquiries regarding this RFP must be submitted to Mariia Alekseevskaia.
