Request for Proposals
Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan), in partnership with the Canadian Child Care Federation (CCCF) and the Association des collèges et universités de la francophonie canadienne (ACUFC), invites qualified consultants or consulting teams to submit proposals to design, develop, test, deploy, document, and transfer knowledge for the Early Childhood Education Pathways Navigator Platform as part of the project Building a Strong, Mobile and Sustainable Early Childhood Education Workforce.
The Platform is intended to serve as a national point of entry for individuals seeking information about education and career pathways in the Early Childhood Education (ECE) sector. Rather than functioning as a traditional searchable directory of programs, the Platform will provide a guided and personalized user experience that helps users identify the education, training, certification, and professional development opportunities most relevant to their circumstances and goals.
The Platform shall support informed decision-making by helping users understand not only what programs are available, but also why specific pathways may be most appropriate given their goals, experience, credentials, location, and desired timeline.

Current Opportunity
CICan is currently accepting proposals from qualified consultants or consulting teams.
The successful proponent will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, documenting, and transferring knowledge for the Early Childhood Education Pathways Navigator Platform. The consultant shall ensure that the Platform is designed to accommodate future growth, the integration of new datasets, evolving user needs, additional user groups, and expanded functionality, while maintaining a consistent, accessible, and user-centered experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
The Platform should be scalable, maintainable, and adaptable to future enhancements, enabling CICan to sustain and evolve the solution beyond the initial implementation period.
