As we all continue to work together to support each other and those most vulnerable in our communities, take note of these recent federal updates: For international students, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) announced additional support measures for international students beginning a new program online this fall with a Canadian learning institution, including: priority study-permit processing for students who have submitted a complete application online; allowing students to count the time spent pursuing their studies online abroad toward their eligibility for a post-graduation work permit, if they have submitted a study permit application and if at least 50% of their program is... Update from IRCC – Implied Legal Status for in-Canada Work Permit and Study Permit Extension Applicants

We [Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada] are writing to inform you of important information as it pertains to temporary foreign workers and international students in Canada whose status have or will expire in the next 90 days and who may be benefiting from continued implied legal status in Canada.
