CICan Members are invited to participate in an exclusive business-to-business mission in the heart of Rome, Italy. This EduCanada branded mission, delivered in collaboration with Canada’s Trade Commission Service, offers a unique opportunity for member institutions to develop strategic partnerships with leading European partners in student recruitment and with institutions with a focus on key program areas of Health, Hospitality and Tourism, and IT.

Monday September 18 | AM: Visit to “Amerigo Vespucci“, a State Professional Institute for Food and Wine Services and Hotel Hospitality
PM: Additional institutional visits. |
Tuesday September 19 | All day: B2B meetings, presentations, and networking with representatives from Italian Higher Technological Institutes (Istituti tecnologici superiori (ITS Academy)) and local government officials. |
Wednesday September 20 | All day: B2B meetings and networking with carefully selected recruitment agencies from Italy, Spain, and France. |
Thursday September 21 | AM: Visit to “Instituto Tecnico Agrario Emilio Sereni”, an agrarian technical high-school with a focus on agriculture (Wine, Oil, Honey) and sustainability
PM: Visit to “Università Europea di Roma”, a private institute offering diverse Bachelor’s Degree Courses including an emphasis on Tourism and Business Administration.

During this mission, participants will:
- Visit leading Italian institutions in their respective industries for potential partnerships in mobility , research, and/or programming
- Connect with potential partners actively recruiting international students from France, Italy, and Spain
- Showcase your institution’s programs and expertise
- Gain valuable insights into the European education landscape and the needs of international students
This mission includes:
- Scheduled institutional visits with leaders in target program areas
- Scheduling of one-on-one business appointments
- Pre-selection and recruitment of education agencies
- Event management
- 15 one-to-one meetings with select agencies from Europe (France, Italy, Spain)
- Presentation by Embassy, High Commission and IRCC officials
- Mission catalogue featuring agency profiles with pictures
- Additional agent contacts from waitlist (if applicable)
