Carlton Trail College is one of Saskatchewan’s leading training and educational institutions. With campuses in Humboldt, Watrous, and Wynyard, a learning centre in Punnichy, and classrooms throughout the region, Carlton Trail College’s programs and services serve the career, employment, training and educational needs of students, business, and industry in east-central Saskatchewan.

The College’s student-centered approach helps individuals achieve their goals and gain employment. Services like Academic and Personal Advising, Career Exploration and Planning, Scholarships, and Transition to Employment Supports help to transition the student from education to employment and contribute to student success. Experienced instructors are dedicated to helping students learn, while smaller class sizes enable personalized attention.

Carlton Trail College’s programs and courses appeal to adults of all ages. Face-to-face offerings include Business, Healthcare, Human Services, Trades and Technology, Adult Basic Education, Health and Safety, Industry Training, English Language Training, Computers and Technology, Business and Professional Development, and General Interest. Online offerings through Ed2Go enable students to learn from the comfort of their own homes.

  •  Workshops such as Awaken Your Potential and Study Success are offered to all students in full-time credit programs to help enhance student retention, improve study habits, and develop additional skills like flexibility, critical thinking, innovation, accountability, and leadership. Safety tickets and related industry training may also be offered in select programs.
  • A minimum two-week work experience component is incorporated into all full-time institute credit programs.
  • 91% of post-secondary program graduates secured employment in their field.
  • Carlton Trail College partners with over 50 volunteer fire departments within  Saskatchewan to deliver online and face-to-face modules of the Essentials of Firefighting Program to over 400 volunteer firefighters.
