Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) in collaboration with Conselho Nacional das Instituições da Rede Federal de Educação Profissional, Científica e Tecnológica (Conif) is thrilled to announce the launch of a brand new scholarship program for Brazilian students studying in Canada. This new program gives Brazilians the opportunity to enroll in colleges and institutes across the country, while strengthening ties between the two countries post-secondary education systems.
Ten scholarships are available for students from the Federal Network of Vocational Education, Science and Technology who would like to improve their English or French and study at a Canadian college or institute involved with this initiative.
Each scholarship covers the cost of language testing, living expenses, tuition fees and travel expenses.
This initiative contributes to the rich diversity of colleges and institutes, while providing Brazilian students with internationally recognized education in a variety of fields.
“Canada and Brazil have a long and fruitful history of collaboration in education”, noted CICan president and CEO, Denise Amyot. “Colleges and institutes across Canada have often hosted Brazilian students and we are pleased that even more will have that opportunity. These exchanges contribute to the rich diversity of our campuses, while providing Brazilian students with internationally recognized education in a variety of fields.”
- 10 scholarships will be awarded to eligible students; 7 for students who would like to learn and study in English and 3 for those who would like to learn and study in French.
- Covers living expenses as well as tuition at any of the 33 colleges and institutes involved with this initiative.
- The duration of the scholarship is for a maximum of 16 months.
