The House of Commons Standing Committee on Finance pre-budget consultation is framed around five questions focusing on economic recovery and growth, job creation, demographic change, productivity, and other challenges. Citizenship and Immigration Deputy Minister to Participate at Symposium
The ACCC Symposium on Supporting the Integration of Immigrants into the Canadian Labour Market includes sessions on exemplary practices, federal immigration policy changes, and partnerships with immigrant settlement agencies and employers. Neil Yeates, Deputy Minister, Citizenship and Immigration Canada, will speak to recent policy changes and programs of interest to colleges and institutes. The Symposium takes place from September 17-19, 2012 at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel.
CARICOM Education for Employment Program – Request for Proposals
ACCC has launched a Request for Proposals for Institutional Partnerships under the CARICOM Education for Employment Program in the areas of agriculture, mining, renewable energy, cultural industries, and early childhood education.
