Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee
To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the ascension of Elizabeth II, Diamond Jubilee Medals will be presented to distinguished Canadians. ACCC has been invited by the Governor General to be a partner organization to nominate 30 meritorious individuals from the college sector.
Member institutions are invited to nominate individuals who have made an exceptional contribution to the institution or to the broader college sector. Nomination letters should be no more than two pages in length and contain a summative 40 word statement outlining the rationale for the nomination. Nominations should be submitted through the office of the institutional CEO by July 15, 2012 to Tobias Keogh.
An ACCC Selection Committee will identify the 30 individuals for nomination to the Governor General’s office. Award presentations will be made before the end of the Diamond Jubilee year. For further information click here.
