City of Levis, June 2, 2016 - The directors of Canada’s 25 technology access centres came from across the country on June 2, 2016 to meet at the Cégep de Lévis-Lauzon and unveil the network’s new brand, Tech-Access Canada | Tech-Accès Canada (TAC). Previously known as the TACCAT Network | Réseau des TACCAT, the new brand better reflects the important relationships that these centres have with the Canadian SME community. The research and development services provided by technology access centres help SMEs innovate to strengthen Canada’s economic competitiveness. The network, which is funded by NSERC and led by Executive Director, Ken Doyle, is a powerful platform from which to engage industry in many sectors and facilitates collaboration among centres across the country. The launch of the new brand, which emphasizes the group’s dynamism and commitment to excellence, marks an important milestone for this new organization.
