Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) is pleased to announce the launch of a call for proposals for institutional partnerships within the framework of the SAGE program.
SAGE is a five (5) year program of Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan), with funding from the Government of Canada with a value of $15,000,000 CAD. SAGE is focused on sharing Canada’s colleges/institutes expertise with educational institutions and employers in six Caribbean countries (Belize, Dominica, Guyana, Grenada, Jamaica and St. Lucia).
SAGE will help create a better qualified labor force by supporting demand-driven technical and vocational education training (TVET) in key economic sectors associated with climate change. SAGE will develop training programs that link adolescent girls and women and youth, educational institutions and employers in a way that helps small – and medium enterprises (SMEs) become more competitive and adapt to climate change. SAGE will support the Feminist International Assistance Policy, particularly the action area of Human dignity.
SAGE is looking for CICan member institutions to provide technical assistance in developing and delivering programming for key green economy sectors in Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica and, St. Lucia
