Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) is pleased to announce the launch of three (3) requests for proposals (RFPs) for thematic partnerships within the framework of the Young Africa Works-Kenya: Youth Employability through TVET project.
The 5-year project (2020-2025) with funding from Mastercard Foundation, will strengthen the quality of Kenyan TVET institutions and systems by developing 26 Centers of Excellence (COEs) as model institutions. The project will increase the participation of young Kenyans, particularly women, in market-relevant skills training programs to increase the number of youths transitioning to dignified and fulfilling work.
The following 3 RFPs are being launched:
- RFP No. YAW-K-TVET-01 – Thematic Partnership on Pre-Service and In-Service Training
- RFP No. YAW-K-TVET-02 – Thematic Partnership on Development of Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) Guidelines and Tools
- RFP No. YAW-K-TVET-03 – Thematic Partnership on Curricula Gap Audit
CICan is extending the deadline for the request for proposals on the following thematic partnerships for Young Africa Works-Kenya: Youth Employability through TVET project to April 27, 2020 at 5:00 pm (EST).
Please note that all timelines in sections 1.6 and 2.5 of the RFP will shift by 3 weeks.
