the ImpAct-Climate project, funded by Environment and Climate Change Canada, is a five-year pan-Canadian initiative aimed at increasing climate change awareness and promoting behavior change in order to reduce Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions within the college and institute sector. The project works in consultation with members to develop a number of program resources, and tools all with the purpose of increasing climate literacy and action as well as promote Indigenous perspectives and approaches. Deliverables include best practices for buildings and landscaping trades, Campus Living Labs, Faculty Training for trades, environmental scans and reports, workshop series, an Emission Reduction Mentorship Program for faculty and staff, and a Campus Emissions Inventory Tool.
The primary focus of the successful firm will be on the national campaign. This will involve creating content (info graphics, videos, resources…etc.) that reach our target audiences and result in measurable change. Key messages and background information on the audiences will be provided, although the successful firm is encouraged to expand upon materials provided.
