Universities Canada and Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) are jointly seeking the assistance of consultant to develop a monitoring and evaluation framework and plan for the newly announced federally funded program to increase post-secondary student participation in outbound student mobility (OSM) opportunities. The program will be jointly administered by Universities Canada and CICan.
Consultants responding to the RFP agree to maintain confidentiality about this document and their proposals.
Objectives of the Program
The objectives of the outbound student mobility program are:
- Increase the participation of underrepresented Canadian students in international learning opportunities
- Diversify destination countries where Canadian students pursue international learning opportunities
- Test innovative approaches to reduce barriers to study/work abroad
- Increase the overall number of Canadian students studying
The objective of this project is to effectively measure the impact of the program. This can be done using qualitative and quantitative data. This information will allow the executing agencies and the funder to make improvements during implementation and to better target the possible scaling of this initiative.
