Skills to Access the Green Economy Program (SAGE) requires the services of Canadian and national consultants to support the delivery of specific outputs and outcomes of the program, including creating the capacity to implement workplace-based training programs that lead to Caribbean Vocational Qualification (CVQ)
SAGE is a 5-year program funded by Global Affairs Canada that launched in February 2020. It focuses on building the capacity of Caribbean technical training institutions to fill skills gaps hampering climate change mitigation efforts and preparing youth to gain skills so that they secure jobs in the green economy across the following partner countries: Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica and St. Lucia.
The ultimate outcome of SAGE is to create a more qualified labour force for employment in key economic sectors associated with climate change in Guyana, Dominica, St. Lucia, Grenada, Jamaica and Belize.
Proposals must be submitted no later than 23:59 EST on September 30, 2020
