Project Description

The Learning Difficulties Project (LDP) is part of an educational initiative in Jordan that supports children with learning disabilities, spearheaded by Princess Sarvath Community College (PSCC) and its Centre of Excellence in Jordan. Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) assisted on the project by providing ten Jordanian educators with skills training necessary to enable them: (i) conduct formal and informal assessments; (ii) review standardized curriculum; (iii) offer support services to classroom teachers, children with learning disabilities and parents; and (iv) design and implement programs on learning disabilities for educators involved in primary and secondary education throughout Jordan.
