Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) worked with Hungary’s Ministry of labour to improve adult training in order to render it more labour-market oriented. CICan provided training in the form of study tours and fellowship programs in Canada for young first time job seekers and mature unemployed adult workers. Specifically, CICan helped with the following: (i) management guidelines as well as financial policies and regulations; (ii) procedures for job analysis, skills testing and development of training materials; (iii) administrative planning; (iv) training needs assessment; (v) basic education curricula development with relevant equipment or softwares for reading, math, science and at least one foreign language; (vi) customized enterprise training; (vii) vocational training curricula development with relevant software/equipment specifications; and (viii) mobile training programs.
