Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) worked with the Government of Cambodia to design a project concept that will lead to strengthening the capacity of the Ministry of Women’s Affairs and 21 Women-in-Development (WID) Centers across Cambodia. The project was intended to provide job skills, employment services and credit to women to increase their income-generating abilities. CICan also assisted with the design of a labor market information system in order to monitor changing skill requirements for women, and with drafting a comprehensive employment promotion plan to reduce poverty.
