{"id":22772,"date":"2022-03-09T17:25:19","date_gmt":"2022-03-09T17:25:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.collegesinstitutes.ca\/notre-role\/nos-priorites\/accelerer-la-reconciliation\/indigenous-education-protocol\/"},"modified":"2026-04-15T19:23:32","modified_gmt":"2026-04-15T19:23:32","slug":"protocole-sur-leducation-des-autochtones","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.collegesinstitutes.ca\/fr\/notre-role\/nos-priorites\/accelerer-la-reconciliation\/protocole-sur-leducation-des-autochtones\/","title":{"rendered":"Protocole d\u2019\u00e9ducation autochtone"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">En 2025, Coll\u00e8ges et instituts Canada a renouvel\u00e9 son Protocole d\u2019\u00e9ducation autochtone, r\u00e9affirmant l\u2019engagement commun du secteur postsecondaire \u00e0 faire progresser la r\u00e9conciliation par l\u2019action.<\/p>\n<p class=\"lead\">\nS\u2019appuyant sur plus d\u2019une d\u00e9cennie d\u2019apprentissage, d\u2019\u00e9coute et d\u2019\u00e9tablissement de relations, le protocole renouvel\u00e9 refl\u00e8te le leadership autochtone et s\u2019aligne davantage sur des cadres dirig\u00e9s par les Autochtones, ainsi que sur les priorit\u00e9s contemporaines et les r\u00e9alit\u00e9s v\u00e9cues.<\/p>\n<h2>Responsabilit\u00e9s et engagements communs<\/h2>\n<p>Dans le cadre du Protocole d\u2019\u00e9ducation autochtone renouvel\u00e9, les \u00e9tablissements signataires affirment leurs responsabilit\u00e9s et obligations en mati\u00e8re d\u2019\u00e9ducation autochtone et \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9gard des grands engagements nationaux.<\/p>\n<p>Ces engagements comprennent la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ohchr.org\/fr\/indigenous-peoples\/un-declaration-rights-indigenous-peoples\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">D\u00e9claration des Nations Unies sur les droits des peuples autochtones<\/a>, qui affirme le droit de ces peuples \u00e0 contr\u00f4ler, prot\u00e9ger et d\u00e9velopper leurs propres syst\u00e8mes d\u2019enseignement. Ils comprennent \u00e9galement les <a href=\"https:\/\/ehprnh2mwo3.exactdn.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/4-Appels_a_l-Action_French.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Appels \u00e0 l\u2019action de la Commission de v\u00e9rit\u00e9 et r\u00e9conciliation li\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9ducation<\/a>, \u00e0 la revitalisation des langues et au perfectionnement professionnel, ainsi que les <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rcaanc-cirnac.gc.ca\/fra\/1448633299414\/1534526479029\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Appels \u00e0 la justice de l\u2019Enqu\u00eate nationale sur les femmes et les filles autochtones disparues et assassin\u00e9es<\/a>, qui pr\u00e9conisent une \u00e9ducation transformatrice dirig\u00e9e par les Autochtones et le d\u00e9veloppement de comp\u00e9tences culturelles.<\/p>\n<p>Les coll\u00e8ges et instituts reconnaissent que les peuples autochtones, Premi\u00e8res Nations, M\u00e9tis et Inuit, poss\u00e8dent des cultures, des langues, des histoires et des perspectives contemporaines distinctes. Faire progresser la r\u00e9conciliation exige des approches qui respectent ces distinctions et qui reposent sur des relations significatives et r\u00e9ciproques avec les communaut\u00e9s autochtones.<\/p>\n<h2>De l\u2019engagement \u00e0 l\u2019action concert\u00e9e<\/h2>\n<p>Le renouvellement du protocole s\u2019inscrit dans l\u2019orientation plus large de CICan visant \u00e0 mobiliser la force collective du r\u00e9seau des coll\u00e8ges et instituts autour de priorit\u00e9s communes.<\/p>\n<p>Le protocole offre une base commune permettant aux \u00e9tablissements de passer ensemble de l\u2019engagement \u00e0 une action concert\u00e9e, tout en tenant compte des r\u00e9alit\u00e9s locales et des priorit\u00e9s des communaut\u00e9s. Il constitue \u00e0 la fois une d\u00e9claration commune de responsabilit\u00e9 et un cadre pratique pour orienter l\u2019action.<\/p>\n<p>Ancr\u00e9 dans les relations, le respect et une responsabilit\u00e9 partag\u00e9e, le Protocole renouvel\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9ducation autochtone soutient les \u00e9tablissements \u00e0 toutes les \u00e9tapes de leur parcours de r\u00e9conciliation. Il contribue \u00e0 traduire les valeurs en actions durables favorisant la r\u00e9ussite des apprenantes et apprenants, l\u2019autod\u00e9termination et les priorit\u00e9s des communaut\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<h2>Sept principes pour guider la R\u00e9concili-ACTION<\/h2>\n<p>Le Protocole d\u2019\u00e9ducation autochtone renouvel\u00e9 repose sur sept principes qui refl\u00e8tent ce que les partenaires autochtones ont constamment identifi\u00e9 comme essentiel \u00e0 la r\u00e9conciliation en \u00e9ducation.<\/p>\n<p>Ensemble, ces principes traduisent des engagements communs en actions concr\u00e8tes dirig\u00e9es par les Autochtones. Ils visent \u00e0 orienter la prise de d\u00e9cision, \u00e0 fa\u00e7onner les relations institutionnelles et \u00e0 soutenir des progr\u00e8s ancr\u00e9s dans les r\u00e9alit\u00e9s locales et les priorit\u00e9s des communaut\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Faire de l\u2019\u00e9ducation autochtone une priorit\u00e9.<\/li>\n<li>Veiller \u00e0 ce que les structures de gouvernance reconnaissent et respectent les peuples autochtones.<\/li>\n<li>Int\u00e9grer les traditions intellectuelles et culturelles autochtones aux approches p\u00e9dagogiques et aux programmes d\u2019\u00e9tudes, en les adaptant aux apprenantes et apprenants et \u00e0 leurs communaut\u00e9s.<\/li>\n<li>Soutenir les apprenantes, apprenants et le personnel dans le d\u00e9veloppement d\u2019une compr\u00e9hension mutuelle et de relations fond\u00e9es sur la r\u00e9ciprocit\u00e9 entre Autochtones et allochtones.<\/li>\n<li>S\u2019engager \u00e0 accro\u00eetre la repr\u00e9sentation du personnel autochtone par des nominations permanentes dans l\u2019ensemble des cat\u00e9gories d\u2019emploi, y compris au sein de la haute direction.<\/li>\n<li>Mettre en place des pratiques centr\u00e9es sur les r\u00e9alit\u00e9s autochtones, culturellement pertinentes, ax\u00e9es sur la gu\u00e9rison et sensibles aux traumatismes, ainsi que des milieux d\u2019apprentissage favorisant la r\u00e9ussite.<\/li>\n<li>\u00c9tablir des relations et des partenariats avec les instituts autochtones, les Nations et les communaut\u00e9s afin de soutenir le renforcement des capacit\u00e9s, le partage des connaissances et la protection des savoirs autochtones, tout en contribuant \u00e0 l\u2019autod\u00e9termination par l\u2019enseignement, la formation et la recherche appliqu\u00e9e.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>\u00c0 propos des principes<\/h3>\n<p>Les sept principes visent \u00e0 orienter l\u2019action, sans prescrire une approche unique.<\/p>\n<p>Les \u00e9tablissements sont appel\u00e9s \u00e0 les mettre en \u0153uvre en fonction de leurs partenariats autochtones locaux, des priorit\u00e9s des communaut\u00e9s et de leur contexte institutionnel.
