Education for Employment in the Pacific Alliance (EFE-PA) is bringing together representatives from the public sector, private sector and civil society, from Canada, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru for its 3rd thematic forum related to TVET.
The TVET Intersectoral Forum: Best Practices and Policies from the Pacific Alliance and Canada will be held virtually every Thursday from October 15th to November 5th. This space for international dialogue will give participants the opportunity to learn and ask questions of experts in the first three sessions. In addition, the Thursday, November 5th session will be devoted to breakout sessions, making the event dynamic and participatory.

- Panel A: Inter-Level Articulation (qualification frameworks, labour competency certifications, post-secondary pathways, prior learning recognition, regional articulation).
Thursday October 22nd, 2020, 10:00-13:00 (Ottawa)
- Panel B: TVET and Private Sector Articulation (labor market analysis, articulation mechanisms, enhancing TVET attractiveness and use of technology).
Thursday October 29th, 2020, 10:00-13:00 (Ottawa)
- Panel C: Quality Assurance (learning evaluation, distance learning and hands-on learning and different training models such as the dual system).
Thursday November 5th, 2020 , 9:00-12:00 (Ottawa)
- Small group work with the support of the panelists (by theme and by country) and plenary sessions to share and promote best practices and policies, strengthening regional dialogue between the five countries, and the development of a support network.
