Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) is the national and international voice of Canada’s publicly supported colleges, institutes and polytechnics. Colleges and institutes work with industry and social sectors to train 1.5 million learners of all ages and backgrounds at campuses serving over 3,000 urban, rural and remote communities in Canada.

The CICan 2015 Conference “Leading Change” will be hosted by Assiniboine Community College, École technique et professionelle (Université de Saint-Boniface), Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology, and Red River College in Winnipeg, Manitoba from May 24-26, 2015.

A priority for Canada’s colleges and institutes is collaborating with business, industry, sector councils and national organizations to overcome mutual challenges and build on successes. On Tuesday morning, May 26 join in the conversation with more than 600 college and institute CEOs, senior administrators, board members, managers, faculty and students, from Canada and around the world.

The morning will kick off starting with a breakfast at 7:30 a.m. and David Chilton whom most of you know as the Wealthy Barber taking the stage at 8:00 a.m. Following David Chilton, join the panel conversation “How do colleges and institutes create career ready grads prepared to innovate, collaborate and take an entrepreneurial approach to “leading  change” before and after graduation”.

The panel will be moderated by Michael Legary, Chairman and Chief Srategy Officer, Seccuris Inc., Chair, the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce, Board Member, Red River College.  Panelists will include Joelle Foster, Director, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Nunavut and NWT, Futurpreneur Canada, J.P. Gladu, President and CEO, Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business, External Member, CICan Board of Directors, Chris Johnson, Owner, Permission Click Inc. and Kelly Lendsay, Aboriginal Human Resource Council, recipient of the 2014-2015 CICan Outstanding Partner Award.
