CICan office closure in response to COVID-19
Given the ongoing concerns over COVID-19, Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) has taken the extraordinary step of closing its offices and implementing a work-from-home directive for all of its employees as of Tuesday March 17 and until further notice. As travel restrictions come into effect around the world, we have also canceled all business trips for the time being.
CICan’s staff is fully equipped for telework, which will allow us to maintain our activities and member services during this period. Though this will require adjustments on all parts, we remain as committed as ever to serving as the national and international voice of Canadian colleges and institutes.

The health and safety of our staff, our members and all stakeholders remain our first and foremost priority. We believe these steps are necessary to help keep people safe, while contributing to the global efforts to limit the spread of COVID-19.
We will continue monitoring the situation very closely and will follow the recommendations issued by the Public Health Agency of Canada as well as local authorities as we continuously assess the need for emergency measures.
