Clean Tech Internship Program

Fast Facts

  • Eligible employers can receive up to $12,000 to hire an intern for a Clean Tech job
  • Eligible employers include small or medium-sized enterprises, Non-Government Organizations, Aboriginal organizations, municipal and provincial governments, and post-secondary institutions
  • Internships must be a minimum of 6 months in length
  • Interns must be 30 years of age or under at the start of their internship
  • Students and grads currently on leave from STEM programs may be eligible for an internship

The Clean Tech Internship connects talent with opportunities. The program matches employers who work in the green and clean technology sectors with college and institute science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) student and grads. The internship provides interns with opportunities to work for eligible employers who are improving environmental and economic outcomes in Canada.
