Northern Lights College (NLC) serves the northern third of BC, a geographic area of 325,000 square kilometers. NLC campuses are located on the territories of the Cree, Dene, Dunne-Za, Kaska, Saulteau, Tse’khene, Tahltan, and Tlingit. It is a region of extremes with forests and lakes, foothills and mountains.

NLC’s roots run deep in the communities it serves, with campuses and access centres in Atlin, Chetwynd, Dawson Creek, Dease Lake, Fort Nelson, Fort St. John, and Tumbler Ridge. Its history is as rich as the resources in the ground, and the values and programming reflect this.

NLC offers unique training opportunities for its students in the region including academic, trades, and continuing education programming. NLC provides the foundation to enter the workforce, start a career, or pursue higher education.

With over 80 credentials and low tuition costs, Northern Lights College provides accessible post-secondary education to the residents of the North and abroad.

For over 25 years, Northern Lights College has welcomed students from around the world to our campuses in beautiful northern British Columbia, many of whom come from across the Asia-Pacific region to study with us. We offer dozens of educational programs which combine classroom and applied learning, designed to prepare students to succeed in the Canadian workplace or continue on to further studies.
